Commerzbank to present updated strategy at Capital Markets Day
BERLIN, Oct 18 (Reuters) -Commerzbank CBKG.DE will present its updated mid- and long-term targets at a Capital Markets Day planned for February 2025 following a review initiated after the appointment of new Chief Executive Bettina Orlopp, said the German lender on Friday.
"This (review) underpins Commerzbank's commitment and determination to drive growth and profitability of the business and create sustainable long-term value for its shareholders and other stakeholders," said the bank in a statement.
Orlopp was elevated to the role of Commerzbank CEO days after Italy's UniCredit CRDI.MI launched a surprise share raid on Germany's second-largest bank.
