** BlackRock BLK.N could start offering indexes and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for private markets, the asset manager said on Monday, after it announced a deal to buy data provider Preqin for nearly $3.2 billion. nL4N3IT0ZA

** Boeing BA.N agreed to buy back Spirit AeroSystems SPR.N for $4.7 billion in stock and Airbus moved to take on the supplier's loss-making Europe-focused activities, sending shares in all three companies higher in a rare transatlantic break-up. nL4N3IT09U


** Swiss bank UBS UBSG.S has completed the merger of its domestic unit with Credit Suisse's operations in its home market, the bank said, adding that the head of the Credit Suisse business was leaving the bank. nL1N3IT0F3
