North Sea Crude-WTI Midland, Brent weaken
LONDON, Nov 8 (Reuters) -U.S. WTI Midland crude and North Sea Brent differentials weakened on Friday, while Forties rose after a higher bid.
PLATTS WINDOW
* Indications are free on board (FOB) unless marked as cost, insurance and freight (CIF) or delivered at place (DAP).
* WTI Midland: Petroineos bought Nov. 28-Dec. 2 from Gunvor CIF Rotterdam at dated Brent plus $1.30, lower than an offer on Thursday. The deal equated to around dated plus 36 cents on a FOB basis, Reuters calculations showed.
* Johan Sverdrup: Equinor sold to BP Nov. 26-28 at dated Brent minus $1.75. Sverdrup is not one of the grades that can set dated Brent's value.
* Forties: Mitsui bid Nov. 27-29 at dated Brent plus 65 cents, up from Thursday's assessment.
* Brent: BP offered Nov. 7-9 at dated Brent plus 40 cents, down from Thursday's assessment.
* Ekofisk: Eni offered Nov. 25-27 at dated Brent plus $1.10, up from Thursday's assessment, so leaving the value unchanged.
* As a result, Brent becomes the cheapest of the benchmark grades and sets the dated Brent value.
