July 2 (Reuters) -The number of people registering as jobless in Spain fell by 1.79% in June from a month earlier, or by 46,783, leaving a total of 2.56 million people out of work, data from the Labour Ministry showed on Tuesday.

The number of jobless people in Spain was a the lowest level for a month June since 2008, the ministry said in its monthly report.

Spain gained 71,095 net formal jobs in June to 21.39 million jobs, a separate report from the Social Security Ministry showed.

The number of people under 25 years old decreased 2.20% in June from the previous month, by 3,939 people to 175,136 people.
