June 25 (Reuters) -The cash hedging of soon-to-expire FX option strikes can have a magnetic effect on FX price action and add to nearby support/resistance. There are large ones worth noting for today, with the bigger strikes due to expire from Wednesday.

EUR/USD has a 1.0700 strike expiry on 1.7 billion euros on Tuesday, with 795 million euros between 1.0730-40. Wednesday has 1.5 billion euros at 1.0700, 1.3 billion at 1.0725-30 and 2 billion euros at 1.0750. Thursday has 2.8 billion euros at 1.0650, 3 billion at 1.0700, 2.2 billion between 1.040-50 and 2 billion between 1.0780-1.0800. Friday has 4.1 billion euros between 1.0650-70, 1 billion at 1.0695, 2.3 billion between 1.0715-25, 1 billion 1.0765-75 and 1.6 billion euros between 1.0790-1.0800.

The largest USD/CHF strikes expiries this week are on Wednesday at 0.8850 on $500 million, 0.8900 on $901 million and 0.8950 on $530 million, and on Friday between 0.8895 and 0.8905 on $740 million.

GBP/USD strike expiries are on Wednesday at 1.2635 on 446 million pounds, 1.2650-55 on 607 million, 1.2700-05 on 802 million and 1.2720 on 466 million pounds. Thursday has 900 million pounds between 1.2550-70, 417-million at 1.2700, 712 million at 1.2750 and 317 million pounds at 1.2800. Friday has 1.1 billion pounds at 1.2645-50. The biggest EUR/GBP strike expiries are on Thursday at 0.8400 on 630 million euros and 0.8445-50 on 520 million euros.

For AUD/USD the biggest strike expiries are on Wednesday between 0.6620-30 on A$728 million, 0.6660-65 on A$783 million, 0.6700 on A$520 million and 0.6745-50 on A$1.3 billion. There's an AUD/NZD strike expiry on Wednesday at 1.0850 on A$1.1 billion.

USD/CAD's largest strike expiries are on Thursday at 1.3675-80 on $1.7-billion and 1.3700-05 on $2.2-billion.

Stand out USD/JPY strikes are on Tuesday at 160.00 on $1.7 billion, Wednesday at 158.90-159.00 on $2.5 billion and Thursday between 159.35-50 on $900 million and 160.00 on $870 million. Friday has $2.5 billion at 158.00, $800 million at 158.50, $1.1 billion at 159.50 and $2.1 billion at 160.00.

EUR/JPY strike expiries are on Friday at 170.50 on 821 million euros.
