ANKARA, Oct 2 (Reuters) -Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Wednesday.

The lira TRYTOM=D3 traded at 34.2230 against the U.S. dollar at 0147 GMT, weakening from a close of 34.2150 on Tuesday.

The main BIST 100 share index .XU100 closed 3.25% lower at 9,351.22 points on Monday.


GLOBAL MARKETS

Asia stocks sank on Wednesday, catching up with the sell-off on Wall Street after Iran's ballistic missile strike on Israel provoked fears of a wider regional conflict, while crude oil pushed higher on the risk of supply disruptions.


TRADE DATA TRTRDA=ECI

Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat will hold a press conference in Ankara to announce September foreign trade data (0800 GMT).


ENERGY MINISTER

Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar will attend a conference on energy strategies in Ankara (0700 GMT).


OPPOSITION

Opposition IYI and DEM parties will hold parliamentary group meetings (0730 GMT).


ISTANBUL INFLATION

Retail prices in Turkey's largest city Istanbul rose 3.9% month-on-month in September for an annual increase of 59.18%, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) said on Tuesday.


LEBANON EVACUATIONS

Turkey is ready to carry out a possible evacuation of Turks from Lebanon via air and sea, and is working with around 20 countries on preparing for a possible evacuation of foreign nationals via Turkey, the foreign ministry said on Tuesday.
