ANKARA, Sept 23 (Reuters) -Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Monday.

The lira TRYTOM=D3 was quoted at 34.0600-34.1450 against the U.S. dollar at 0425 GMT, compared with a close of 34.1300 on Friday.


GLOBAL MARKETS

Asian stocks firmed on Monday ahead of central bank meetings that are widely expected to deliver two more rate cuts and key U.S. inflation figures that should flash a green light for more easing there.


ERDOGAN

President Tayyip Erdogan, who is in New York ahead of the annual United Nations General Assembly session, is expected to hold bilateral meetings with other leaders.


PARLIAMENT SPEAKER

Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmus will meet members of Turkish-Russian Businesspeople Union in Moscow.


TRANSPORT MINISTER

Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu will meet members of Turkish civil society in Berlin (0700 GMT).


ERDOGAN'S CALL

Attacks on Lebanon this week showed that the Israeli government planned to spread the war to the region, Turkey's President Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday, calling on Western countries to take "deterrent steps" against Israel's actions.


RESERVE REQUIREMENT RATIOS

The Turkish Central Bank said on Saturday it had raised reserve requirement ratios for lira deposits to support macrofinancial stability and the monetary transmission mechanism.
