Ukraine's central bank keeps main interest rate unchanged at 13% - statement
KYIV, Sept 19 (Reuters) -Ukraine's central bank kept its key rate unchanged at 13% on Thursday and said it expected inflation to continue to increase in the coming months due to higher energy costs and rising excise duties.
Consumer prices rose by 7.5% in August year-on-year and inflationary pressures also increased last month, the central bank said.
"This decision will help gradually bring inflation back to the target of 5% in the coming years and support the sustainability of the foreign exchange market," the central bank said in a statement.
