US Cash Grains-Corn, soybean basis steady-weak as harvest advances
CHICAGO, Sept 30 (Reuters) -Basis bids for soybeans and corn were steady to weaker in the U.S. Midwest on Monday as the harvest of both crops continued, grain dealers said.
* Weather forecasts called for mostly dry weather across the Midwest for the rest of the week, which should help advance field work.
* Chicago Board of Trade futures markets were fairly steady as brokers awaited the U.S. Department of Agriculture's quarterly grain stocks and annual small grains reports, both due at 11 a.m. CDT (1600 GMT) on Monday
* As of 10:50 a.m. CDT (1550 GMT), CBOT December corn CZ24 was up 1 cent at $4.19 per bushel and November soybeans SX24 were down 2-1/4 cents at $10.63-1/2 a bushel. GRA/
