U.S. stock index futures inched lower on Friday, as investors refrained from placing big bets ahead of a crucial inflation report which could sway expectations on the size of upcoming interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve .N
At 7:33 ET, Dow e-minis 1YMc1 were down 0.03% at 42,543. S&P 500 e-minis ESc1 were down 0.05% at 5,801.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis NQc1 were down 0.12% at 20,321.5.
