U.S. stock index futures were muted in choppy trading on Tuesday, as investors scoured for clues on what the Federal Reserve's next policy move might be, while mining stocks got a boost after China unveiled a bumper stimulus package. .N
At 7:40 ET, Dow e-minis 1YMc1 were up 0.05% at 42,523. S&P 500 e-minis ESc1 were up 0.12% at 5,783.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis NQc1 were up 0.19% at 20,117.5.
