PARIS, Oct 4 (Reuters) -Spot prices for Monday were untraded early on Friday, as German wind power supply was expected to rise over the next week.

The German TRDEBD3 and French TRFRBD3 Monday baseload power contracts were untraded at 1010 GMT, with the German contract carrying a bid price of 74 euros ($81.61) per megawatt-hour (MWh), LSEG data showed.

Residual load is expected to drop on Monday on a stronger renewable supply compared to Friday, LSEG analyst Marcus Eriksson said.

German wind power output is forecast at 19 gigawatts (GW) on Monday, jumping 10.4 GW from Friday, while French output is expected to add 3.8 GW to 7 GW, LSEG data showed.

German solar power supply is forecast to add 2.4 GW to 7.8 GW on Monday.

LSEG analysis showed wind power supply is forecast to fall back to around 12 GW on Tuesday, before rebounding to 18 GW on Wednesday then jumping to an average of 30 GW on Thursday and Friday.

French nuclear availability fell two percentage points to 70% of available capacity as the Civaux 1 reactor went offline with an unplanned outage. POWER/FR

The reactor was disconnected Thursday for maintenance on the steam circuit in the engine room, a non-nuclear part of the installation, operator EDF said in an online note.

Power consumption in Germany is forecast to rise 3.4 GW on Monday to 56.1 GW, while demand in France is projected to fall 3.8 GW to 43.7 GW.

German 2025 baseload TRDEBYZ5 fell 0.9% to 85.90 euros/MWh, while the equivalent French position TRFRBYZ5 had a bid-ask range between 69 and 71.50 euros/MWh.

European CO2 allowances for December 2024 expiry CFI2Zc1 fell 1.6% to 61.73 euros a metric ton, after reaching a contract low since April 8 at 61.41 euros earlier.
