India stocks, rupee, swaps, call at close

STOCKS:
The BSE Sensex .BSESN was down 0.53% at 79,942 points, while the NSE Nifty 50 index .NSEI declined by 0.51% to 24,342 dragged down by high-weightage financials and as drugmaker Cipla extended its post-results losses. .BO
RUPEE:
The Indian rupee INR=IN was largely unchanged at 84.0775 per U.S. dollar, swaying between month-end dollar demand from importers and central bank intervention. INR/
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond IN071034G=CC was quoted at 101.87 rupees, with the yield down 3 bps at 6.8271%, as value purchases continued, while falling U.S. Treasury yields and oil prices further aided sentiment. IN/
OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:
The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was down 2 basis points at 6.52%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC declined by a similar margin to 6.22%.
CALL MONEY:
India's overnight call money INROND= rate was at 5.80%, and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.30%.
