UK Stocks-Factors to watch on Nov. 8
Adds new items, updates futures
Nov 8 (Reuters) -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Friday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.1%.
* IAG: British Airways-owner IAG's ICAG.L quarterly operating profit jumped 15%, beating forecasts, and it was upbeat on travel demand, forecasting that its strong financial performance would continue for the rest of the year.
* VISTRY: Vistry VTYV.L, Britain's largest homebuilder by annual output, issued its second full-year profit warning in a month, citing additional costs in its South division and forecast further cost pressures next year.
* RIGHTMOVE: UK's largest property portal Rightmove RMV.L raised its annual average advertising revenue growth forecast on Friday, as easing mortgage costs against an encouraging economic backdrop boosted activity in the residential segment.
* CMA: Britain's competition watchdog flagged concerns and potential solutions regarding the distribution of infant formulas, which could help improve the sector as well as reduce costs for parents.
* PAY: Britain's labour market showed further signs of cooling in October, according to a survey that showed the weakest wage growth since early 2021, and tax increases in last week's budget might further hit hiring.
* BOOHOO: Boohoo BOOH.L questioned Frasers' FRAS.L interests and sought undertakings that would limit the top investor's influence, a day after it urged the British online retailer to refrain from any asset sale without prior approval.
* OIL: Oil prices fell slightly as the risk that a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico will significantly affect U.S. oil and gas output declined, while the market weighs how President-elect Donald Trump's policies might affect supplies.
* METALS: Most base metals prices were trading higher.
