XM has recently donated to the Ho Chi Minh City Child Welfare Association (HCWA) in Vietnam to provide disadvantaged children with access to quality education regardless of their circumstances.

Vietnam is full of kids living off the street, wondering where their next meal will come from, looking for shelter away from abusive parents, and suffering with physical and mental health issues. At the core of what they want is safety, a warm embrace, and the chance of a better future.

HCWA offers the protection, education, and support these children so desperately need. They remove the barriers to education for these children and help them survive and go on to thrive as fully capable adults.

Our donation will provide scholarships for 10 students that the charity shelters to ensure they can continue their education at school. It will also go towards covering transportation costs for the charity volunteers who work tirelessly to transform their lives.

Established over 30 years ago, HCWA is a non-profit social organisation, providing a support system for disadvantaged children who are at risk of exploitation, sexual and labour abuse, drug addiction, and diseases like HIV/AIDS. The charity has helped over 300,000 children so far, reintegrating them back into society and providing the foundation they need to lead a stable life.

Having a shared goal of building a society where children can flourish, supporting charities who look after the most vulnerable is at the heart of our social responsibility program. Earlier this year, we also supported Saigon children charity in Vietnam with school supplies for underprivileged children.
